Υπαίθριο Θέατρο "Γιώργος Παππάς"-Αίγιο

The open-air theater "George Pappas" is located in the surroundings of the Cultural Center of Aegio "Alekos Megaris" in one place of rare natural beauty and boundless views to the Corinthian Gulf.

The theater friezes can accommodate approximately 1,000 people are built from special impregnated wood. The theater orchestra diameter 16.60 meters, while the distance between the center of the circular stage and the first seat is 10.80 meters.

The building of the cultural center management, the environment and the outdoor theater accorded the Municipal Welfare Enterprise Aigialeia (DI.K.EP.A.). Also, by decision of the Aigialeia City Council, following the Board's proposal the DI.K.EP.A. decided naming the Open-Air Theater in "George Pappas" in honor of the unforgettable internationally renowned bass originating from Aigialeia.

Please note that the parking is easy in the streets around the outdoor theater, as it is a breath away from the center of Aegio, while in the theater works canteen with snacks and refreshments.
