Agriturismo e Vini La Vrille

The La Vrille is located along the Via Francigena in the municipality of Verrayes Valle d'Aosta at 670 meters above sea level, well exposed and with views of the mountains Avic and Emilius. It was founded in 2002 by a project dreamed and thought by Luciana and Hervé, two pioneers of the life of simplicity.

The Vrille is a small, four hectares of which one half of the vineyard, but equipped with everything, with chickens, sheep, geese, rabbits, a vegetable garden with greenhouse and orchard. The fruits and vegetables are cultivated following a biodynamic philosophy, without the use of pesticides, and with the aid of organic compounds for fertilization.

Among the vineyards, cultivated with care and passion by Hervé, you will find Petit Rouge, Cornalin, Fumin, Gamay, Chambave Muscat. The vineyards are all locals except that Gamay originates from Beaujolais and the Chambave Muscat, which is a historic grape local tradition.

And finally the kitchen of Luciana, as she likes to call it, is a kitchen to "zero centimeters", where each ingredient comes from the garden and from the territory through a careful selection of small producers in the Aosta Valley. Even those who are not visiting the farm and want to taste the cuisine of Luciana can book dinners and holiday dinners.
