Agriturismo "Il Giardino degli Ovali"

The garden of the ovals, oranges with light-colored spring fruiting, was born in 1932 as part of an ancient farm. This is owned by the Pappalardo family since its origins, which are lost in time, certainly prior to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, and which are related to the splitting of a medieval fund of religious possession. In progress, the company itself, which covers about ten hectares, is cultivated precisely for citrus oranges of oval orange trees for about eight hectares, and the rest is still maintained the ancient environment, that is a typical Mediterranean hill forest that it hosts rabbits, foxes, canines, weasels, buzzards, owls and other wild animals of mainly endemic species.
