Det Ny Teater

The New Theater has since 1994 produced major musicals at international level with artistic and audience success.

The New Theater is Denmark's only privately run theater and the country's most visited theater. The New Theater receives a rental and ticket brokerage subsidy via the Finance Act.

The New Theater was built in 1908. With its 12,000 m2 and more than 1000 seats, the theater is one of the country's largest theaters. The theater building is today one of Europe's most beautiful and most accomplished classical theater buildings.

The New Theater has produced a number of musicals, which with the production of The New Theater received Denmark or Scandinavia premiere, as well as a number of great classic musicals.
