Δίπυλο Μεζεδοπωλείο - Dipylo

Many roads started and ended up on the Market Square. Among them is the wide street, known as the Panathenaic Road, the city's main boulevard with a length of just over one kilometer. This road led from DIPLO the main gate of the wall on the Acropolis and recommended the journey of the great procession with which the Panathenaic feast peaked.

From Wednesday to Sunday night, the music of Panagos, Napoleon and Fotis are kept with their rebetika songs! (On Sundays and at noon and evening)

Many streets started and ended up to Agora. The most important of these streets was the 1km long Street Panathinea, which is considered to be the main street in ancient Athens. That street was starting from DIPYLO (two gates), the mail gate of the Acropolis wall. This constituted the path of the grand procession culminating in the Panathinea festival.
