Emanuel, Portuguese by birth and with more than half a life in Spanish lands, had the illusion of bringing to Spain the cuisine of his country.
He embarked two friends of his on a trip to Portuguese lands to teach them his origins. It was there that he showed them the incredible "Frango de Churrasco" that they prepare in Marques de Aveiro, his hometown. Together they discovered all the secrets of "Leitao a Bairrada" and fell in love with the incredible texture and flavor of "Bacalhau Posta".
On his return to Spain the three were clear and began to create the project that is now a reality: El Fado.
