The Rantalinna is one of Finland's most beautiful art nouveaux on the shore of Lake Saimaa. In the early 20th century, it was owned by a Russian prince who was a close relative of the Russian Tsar.

The castle was built in 1912 and is now protected by the National Board of Antiquities.

Formerly, the building was the residence of Prince Alexandr Oldenburg, a member of Romanov's ruling family, and now a hotel that offers its guests accommodation in fully refurbished luxury classrooms.

The first floor of the castle is now Rantalinna Restaurant. Now, like when the Oldenburgs lived in the castle, space is used in all its splendor to organize various events and celebrations. In addition, our saunas are available for hire.

On the second floor are the rooms of the prince and princess, as well as a cozy, spacious lounge with fireplace and access to the elegant pillars-lined balcony.

On the third floor Hotel Rooms and Small Tower also have a suite that we offer to our wedding guests.

The decor of all rooms is elegant, but in balance with existing facilities and technology. Each room has a flat-screen TV and WiFi.

The castle is bordered by a traditional park with paths and benches. The park features sauna facilities, barbecue facilities, and a beach-side jetty for sailing and motorboats. The total area is 10 ha.

There are several options available for visitors to enjoy.
