The Institute of Contemporary Greek Art iset, a nonprofit civil society, was founded in February 2009 by key executives of the Nees Morfes Art Hall, with collaborators - consultants of art historians and artists. The aim of the Institute is to record as much as possible the course of the visual arts in Greece from 1945 to the present day. The archive collections of the Institute, which had as their first core the archives of the New Forms and Dies, are based on the rich material provided by public and private actors, artists, art historians and individuals. The continuous supply of material complements and enriches daily the valuable archive of the iset archive. In the belief that the record should not be a closed shell of preservation but a living organism that evolves and participates in the fermentations of the present, the institute uses its archive material by organizing informative and training events, seminars, open actions and exhibitions , In collaboration with artists, art historians and theorists. At the same time, the publication, promotion and dissemination of relevant studies is supported.
