Kino Mediteran Komiža

Cinema in Komiža is one of the oldest cinemas in Croatia and it is an inevitable part of Komiza's cultural offer. Cinema did not interrupt the continuity of its work in difficult times without adequate technical equipment, but it became part of the quality program coordination of the Kino Mediteran project and focused on films of independent and European productions.

Thanks to the good results and strong development of the audience, the cinema was supported by the Ministry of Culture for Digital Equipping and since October 2015 it has been working with new modern technical equipment.

Cinema Mediteran is a project of cinema revitalization in Dalmatia and is held in more than 20 cities, and Komiza along Bol, Hvar, Imotski and Pirovac, belongs to a small number of digital cinemas in Dalmatia.

Cinema Mediteran Komiža is organized in partnership with the Nautical Center Komiža and the City of Komiza.

Komiza is part of the Cinema Mediterranean project from the very beginning of 2012.
