So that's it, we are there!
A little history... Pajol is the first, eco-friendly Parisian district, located in the 18th. Built in 1926, along the tracks of the North Station, it was formerly "THE MESSAGING OF CUSTOMS". Ten bays of the large metal structure hall have been preserved and rehabilitated, as well as the buildings of the Messageries. This operation preserves the heritage by reusing existing buildings. ZAC Pajol is the "largest" urban photovoltaic plant in France, 3.500 m² of photovoltaic solar panels, which are installed on the roofs of the hall.
A garden combining covered and open vegetated spaces has been designed by landscapers. In total, more than 9,000m² of green space will be the link between the hall and the Pajol street! Under the Halle, it is a covered garden of 2,500m², which will offer walkers a pleasant space, a space of varied plant species, to promote biodiversity.
