MACE Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Etna - Sant'Alfio

For the first time, in Sant'Alfio, the first Museum of Contemporary Art on Etna takes shape: a space able to host and tell the contemporary of performing languages ​​with a continuous exhibition of works by contemporary artists from installations to sculpture, from painting to photography. A museum place also conceived as a multidisciplinary space to offer visitors a cultural journey in a building that once was the former slaughterhouse of the Etna country. Today, the M.a.c.e. Sant'Alfio opens its doors to the contemporary imaginary thanks to the works of artists from all over the world who have paid homage to the country with specially designed works so that even the art tells the Chestnut Country of the Cento Cavalli.
