The museum is housed in an underground space in the area once occupied by one of the furnaces of a one hundred Crystal glassware factory and Glassware Schmidt or former glassworks Woods. The different sections reconstruct the route taken Colligiana glass industry since 1820, the year of the first furnace of the plant, until the full realization of lead crystal in 1963, presenting examples of pre-industrial production and glassy finds dating from the fourteenth or fifteenth century. Special attention has been paid to design items and those engraved with the most ancient techniques.
