The eighteenth century Palazzo Braschi, situated in the heart of Renaissance and Baroque Rome, between Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori square, is the seat of the Museum of Rome. The palace was designed by Cosimo Morelli (1732-1812), it has recently undergone a complex renovation and restoration that have restored the original splendor of the majestic architecture, the spectacular courtyard, with fine stucco and paintings of the halls. distinctive architectural feature of the building is the monumental staircase, which also poses hand the architect Giuseppe Valadier (1762-1839).
