The Museum of Natural History of the Academy of Fisiocritici (from greek, fisiocritico: those who study the nature critically) is an integral part of the Academy founded in 1691 by the Sienese scientist Pirro Maria Gabrielli and housed since 1816 in a former monastery dating back camaldolese the twelfth century. The Natural History Museum is called because it includes findings from the three main kingdoms of nature: animal, vegetable and mineral. The museum is divided into two main sections and ZOOLOGICAL GEOLOGICAL, in addition to the Anatomical section and the Botanics.
