The Museum documents the journey of faith that has come this Church of Cuenca in the areas of worship, catechesis, charity and culture.   The museum occupies the first three floors of the Episcopal Palace that correspond to the oldest rooms in the building. In the main hall, known as the Fourth of San Julian, plasterwork remains are preserved with Kufic inscriptions and can be seen the Gothic windows of the first palace.             It consists of 10 rooms in which more than 200 pieces of great value and uniqueness, especially those concerning the sixteenth century are exhibited. The funds come from the Cathedral and numerous parishes in the Diocese of Cuenca, so called Diocesan Museum.   The collections are the expression of Christian faith over time, so the installation attempts to create a sacred and contemplative atmosphere, beyond its cultural, aesthetic and even scientific value, induces the visitor to the perception of beauty God and therefore to prayer.
