BIRTH PARISH MUSEUM TRAVELLING OF CASTELLARO
The Itinerant Museum was created to enhance the ecclesiastical cultural heritage of the parish. They include mobile works (440 latest catalog CEI), Buildings, Archives and Library. The mission, which aims is to discover the local history, the cultural heritage and promote the sense of belonging to a community that finds reason to exist not only in the tradition but, thanks to the scientific study, also in history. The premises which are under the canonical built next to the Oratory Assumption as the priest house (cit. Pastoral visit of Bishop 1606- Luca Fieschi), have been renovated with care thanks to the substantial contribution of the Liguria Region as well as by the Papone and Professor Anfosso, creator of the museum. E 'can now enjoy the "treasures" of our parish, having recovering the spaces used in the past as stables and / or stores and, during the war, as guest of the soldiers. The installation was realized with the valuable and effective collaboration impresario Leonardo Papone and architect Marco Poncellini. To date the museum includes the Parish of St. Peter in Chains, the Oratory, the renovated premises of the rectory, the crypt and the Sanctuary of N. S. Lampedusa.
