Museu Municipal de Arouca

The Municipal Museum of Arouca was symbolically inaugurated on the International Day of Museums, and seeks to preserve the memories and traditions of a markedly rural people, but also to note the vast archaeological and geological heritage of our county. Located near one of the entrances to the village, it has a space dedicated to the permanent exhibition «Memory of a rurality», where you can find pieces used in the cultivation of the land. At the same time, it has a temporary exhibition space, inaugurated with the exhibition "14 artists of the Manuel de Brito Collection", the responsibility of Galleries 111.
