Traditional family tavern, built with local stone of the area as in the old mansions. You can sit under the arbor at the tavern's corner and feel you are in a world of serenity, relaxation and tranquility enjoying your meal or dinner. Every Monday night in the old Hersonissos square you can watch something special, the traditional Cretan feast with music & Cretan dances from local bands. The kitchen of Myrthios tavern offers traditional Cretan and Greek dishes with local products. You can try the bread that is kneaded and baking at the time it is ordered. Also the kleftiko in the wood oven, the peninsula and the roasts of the time. Also 20 different kinds of pizza and macaroni, as well as international food. In 2016 our restaurant was selected in one of the best restaurants in Crete and the only one in our region on the list of The Best Food in Greece.
