Pensiunea Veselia

Veselia Guesthouse in Botiza, Maramures County is situated in a magnificent setting in a large orchard with green fruit trees, flowers and plenty of fresh air. Our guesthouse is the perfect place for total relaxation because you will spend a quiet stay without neighbors nearby in a beautiful landscape, the orchard is located above the village and the access road is paved by us. To provide all the comfort of a seating area in the yard, we have two large wooden rustic swings made of solid wood. In order to preserve the rustic traditions of Maramures, the access to the hostel is made by a carved gate made of solid wood.

Veselia Pension consists of three houses and two large wooden terraces, covered barbecue, big swings in the yard.

1. The Moderna House will provide seven bedrooms including one bedroom with en suite bathroom and 6 bedrooms with two bathrooms in the lobby. Also in the new house we have a large salon for dining with the modern kitchen, the capacity of which is 25 persons. The house has 3 large balconies overlooking the area.
2. The Rustic House consists of three bedrooms each with its own bathroom, the furniture is rustic, a dining room with a capacity of 10 people and the kitchen has all the utilities.
3. House Museum - Provides a rustic style room and a fully equipped kitchen. Tourists staying in our guesthouses will have access to the large barbecue located in the yard that is equipped with a hob, barbecue and oven.
4. The large rustic covered wood covered terrace can be used as a place for dining with a capacity of 60 seats, it can be used as a meeting room, conferences, parties or a study place for children in camps.
5. The small wooden terrace can be used as a place for relaxation, the pleasure table. All guest rooms are equipped with TV and cable TV.

The prices for accommodation are as follows:

• 40 lei person / night;
• 70 lei person / night with breakfast;
• 100 lei person / night with half board.

For organized groups we can offer full board and artistic romagames made together with Czech and Botis dancers.

For various holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc. Traditional special programs such as:

• Cutting the pig;
• Morose night;
• Parties with camp fire;
• Excursions in the area. The menu for this kind of activity is a traditional Moroccan (at your choice).

Given that our guesthouse is located at the foot of the Tibles Mountains, you will be pleased to see the Botiza river flowing into IZA. You can also visit the following local attractions:

1. The "Change to the Girl" Monastery
2. The churches in the old (wooden) and the new ones near the Veselia Pension.
3. Mineral water springs (Borcut);
4. Salty water spring.
5. The Botiza City Museum (located opposite the Town Hall);
6. Excursions to the forest can be made in the mountains (Varatec, Gargoietu, the Passage to Gross Tibles).
