POLICARDIA THE THEATRE - SECTION PISA

The Policardia Theatre was born from the work started in 1994 with the aim of spreading the art of theater among children and teenagers to Viareggio. Since 2008 three teachers from the Bouffes du Nord in Paris, Mamadou Doiume, Bruce Mayers and Corinne Jaber, alternate in the practice of theater research in Versilia. The Policardia hosted for the first four years the Masters with workshops open to all on a quarterly basis. In 2010 Mamadou Dioume and Bruce Myers asked the Artistic Director Andrea Moretti Elodie to create a pool of students in Italy where to deposit their experiences. In October 2011 it was founded the International Center of Creation which hosts actors from all over the country. The Creation Centre has been a promoter of human transformation for students and a boost to the constant creativity. This led to the emergence of new "sections" of Policardia, in order to bring their own work and experience he shared years together, as is Lucca section, directed by Dario Impicciatore, and Carrara section, direct by Elena Tagliagambe. In September of 2013 is born the Policardia Theatre - Section direct Pisa by Pietro Anastasi and Gabriele Finzi, which operates in constant exchange with the other sections and the Masters of the CCT. The section is intended to not only be a theater school, but aspires to be the engine of discovery, meetings and links through theatrical language. "Main House" of its activities is "MixArt Kollok", the circle from which the section carries its own laboratories, aimed at both children and adults. In these three years, our laboratories have already been present at the Institutes Primary "Gereschi" and "Zerboglio", at the School of graduate studies and advanced Sant'Anna, with a specific project proposed to students based on "The Secret of world "of JCCarrière and within the multidisciplinary project MixArt - Kollok" the city-cure "for the users of the day centers of Pisa for the USL 5 Tuscany.
