By creating this page we are not only focused on promoting our Villas and our place, but, first of all, our goal is to show to the World the beauties of Garfagnana, the green heart of Tuscany.

OUR ACCOMODATIONS:

VILLA "IL NIDO":

Villa "Il Nido", originally the property’s barn, has recently undergone a high-quality restoration. It is adjacent to, but completely indipendent from, the owners home, and has its own private covered verandah, small garden, and an outdoor eating area with a grill. Guests have exclusive use of a private circular dip pool, fed by spring water 50m from the property. From the private pool there are views of the beautiful Garfagnana valley and of an ancient fortress on the opposite hillside. The villa itself is spacious and very attractive, with large windows shaded by traditional latticed barn brickwork. Original beamed ceilings and terracotta trim throughout reflect traditional Tuscan architecture. The large open living area is overlooked by a sleeping loft. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms have been newly restored with high-quality fixtures and tile. The surrounding countryside is spectacularly scenic, and offers easy access to Lucca, Florence, Pisa and the coast.

COTTAGE HOUSE:

Cottage House "Il Palazzetto" is a restored house, originally built in 1900. It is adjacent to the owners’ property but completely independent. It offers self-catering accommodation and can sleep up to six people. This property offers three en-suite bedrooms (each with a satellite TV), a Wi Fi internet connection, and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a microwave, an electric cooker/over with gas cooktop, a fridge, a freezer and a washing machine. Outdoors is a covered eating area with a private garden, a grill, and a spectacular view of the Garfagnana valley and the fortress of Monte Alfonso.
