Sala Clan Cabaret

Since its inauguration in 1991, the Clan Cabaret room has become an emblematic place of the night and the culture of Alicante. Among its four walls it is possible to find practically everything imaginable: monologues, small format theater, acoustic concerts, projections, exhibitions or their mythical DJ sessions until dawn.

Clan Cabaret is a multidisciplinary space that changes the environment according to the time: from the tranquility of the evening to the frenzy of the night, passing through the lively nightlife generated around its performances.   Artists from the likes of El Gran Wyoming, Dani Rovira, Albert Pla, Els Comediants, Javier Krahe, Joaquín Reyes and Enrique Urquijo, among many others, have passed through the Clan Cabaret scene. The hall has its own monologue competition - the Marathon Show of Monologues "Sol @ ante el peligro", which started in 2000, as well as hosting annually shows of the main theatrical competitions that take place in the city, as the "Alicante a Escena" Festival, the "Spanish Theater Show of Contemporary Authors" and the International Festival of Puppets "Festitíteres".

Clan Cabaret's musical line has always been characterized by a special desire for the most select rock, blues and soul of all time, but without ruining other rhythms. His legendary booth has hosted local, national and international DJs, including Eddie Piller (founder of the prestigious Acid-Jazz label) or Gavin Smith (owner of the no less prestigious Mr. Bongo Records label).
