The Diocese Museum, which was organized in 1938, was in addition to the treasury of the cathedral treasury and presented the parishes' liturgical masterpieces to the general public, presenting the material memories of the life of a whole area. The exhibition, which was reorganized in 1998, is facing a new location opposite the bishop's palace, with the same theme in the former Franciscan monastery. Mainly liturgical jewelery and textiles, as well as paintings and sculptures, can be visited from the summer of 2009 in a renewed form. The most valuable and visible piece of the collection is King St Stephen's Captain.
