The Steadings Bed & Breakfast & Self Catering Holiday Cottage

The Steadings were originally two stone farm barns, now converted to provide homely comfortable B&B accommodation. Attached is Granary Cottage, a fully equipped self-catering cottage, both set in lovely gardens.

Situated in the village of Chesters, amongst the rolling hills of The Borders, near the historic towns of Jedburgh and Hawick offering independent shops, cafés, antique shops, pubs and restaurants.

This area is great for the outdoor life and The Steadings is ideally situated for Walking, Cycling, Golfing, Fishing, Shooting, Horse Riding and Bird Watching. Or perhaps you prefer to visit the numerous Stately Homes, Abbeys, Castles and Gardens.

Edinburgh with all its attractions is one hour by car or 50 mins by rail from nearby Tweedbank Station with trains running every half hour. We are also within striking distance of the coast where you will find beautiful scenery along with magical places such as Lindisfarne, The Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle.
