A Szépművészeti Múzeum Egyiptomi Gyűjteménye Sopronban

The Egyptian Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts is one of the richest collections in Central Europe, of which thirty outstanding masterpieces can be seen in Sopron. In keeping with the basic concept of the permanent exhibition, the works can be viewed in a non-chronological but thematic layout. This is thematic is a spectacular, well-understood way for visitors to discuss the three basic areas of the ancient Egyptian worldview, the sphere of humans, gods and the dead.
