The farm is located in the town of Città di Castello, locality Scalocchio, voc. Frigino (last word Umbro on the border with the Marches). The valley in the center of the Apennines is crossed by the Candigliano stream and is about halfway between the nuclei of Apecchio and Mercatello sul Metauro, both of the Pesaro-Urbino province. The village of Scalocchio, ancient and populous, is nowadays frequented above all in the summer season. The houses are all in local stone and the locals love to keep the architectural and natural features of the place. Recent renovation of the ancient Abbazia bendettina di San Benedetto, dating back to the year 500 AD. The area can be reached both from the Marche and more precisely from Mercatello sul Metauro and Apecchio (8Km about) that from Umbria and more precisely from Città di Castello and Selci Lama (about 20Km). The property consists of a farm of about 47 plus the farm buildings. The land consists of about 10 hectares of arable land; 4 Ha of tartufaie; 33Has of pastures and woods. The buildings are made up of n. 2 main blocks plus 4 small outbuildings, forming a small and characteristic village. The annexes are renovated and prepared to accommodate small housing units.
