Structure

Modernity and tradition are the two souls of the B & B Casa di Orione, which looks like a welcoming and refined place, ideal for both short breaks and business trips. The B & B is located in an apartment, completely renovated, on the first floor of a building built in the '30s to meet the housing need arose in the period immediately following the earthquake that destroyed the city of Messina in 1908.

The recovery of the traditional elements of the apartment is combined with the inclusion of new equipment designed to guarantee all the comforts required by a heterogeneous and demanding user; in fact, if the classic wooden doors, pendant lamps and antique armchairs make the guests find themselves in an atmosphere of other times, the modern equipment of the structure, such as air conditioners and LED TVs (supplied in each room), the free wi-fi network, the new heating system and the equipped kitchen, respond to the growing and varied needs of young people, families and professionals. Casa di Orione offers the possibility to have breakfast either inside the apartment, in the modern area set up for this purpose, or at a conventioned facility, as well as being able to take advantage of the home service.

The property offers double single use, double / twin rooms with the possibility of adding a third bed, with bathroom in the room or outside bathroom. The rooms are well lit and have a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard, a desk with chair and drawers, bench / roggiatrolley, rack, armchair, LED TV, wi-fi, independent heating and inverter air conditioners.

Where we are

Located in Provinciale, in a strategic position between the motorway junctions of Messina Centro and Messina Gazzi, in an area well served by public transport that conveniently connect both the north and the south of the city (the tram and bus stop are located about 50 m), Casa di Orione is ideal especially for those who need to reach, even on foot, the University Hospital of Messina (about 10 minutes). The area is configured as a real urban shopping park being served by numerous shops, supermarkets, pizzerias, caterers, self service, pastry shops and what may be necessary during your stay in Messina. Within a radius of about 500 m also the Church, the pharmacy, the post office, the bank, the Giovanni Celeste stadium, the Villa Igea nursing home, the ATM office, the Villa Dante park and the Monumental Cemetery of Messina ; It is also ideal for reaching the ZIR industrial area which houses numerous management centers such as those of the Gazzetta del Sud, FIRE Consulting and Debt Management, the Franza Group and numerous car dealers. A little more than 1 km away is the Ettore Ainis barracks.

How to reach us

From the Central Station of Messina and from the Maritime Station, the structure is easily reached by tram (line 28) in the direction of Bonino, getting off at the Provinciale stop. For those arriving in Messina with the Caronte & Tourist ships coming from Villa San Giovanni it is recommended to take the tram at the Brazil or Pola stops and get off at the Provinciale stop. From the Cavallotti parking lot, in the center of Messina, it is possible to take any direct bus in the south area and get off at the Provinciale stop or near the ATM office. By car, for those coming from the south the recommended highway junction is Messina Gazzi, for those coming from the north the recommended junction is Messina Centro.
