Casa Museo Monticello Amiata

The Casa Museo is located in the historic center of Monticello Amiata and is housed in the old town hall; the rooms faithfully recreate a home in the Amiatina mountain of the late nineteenth century.

On the entrance floor there is the "heart" of the house consisting of the kitchen and the room furnished with authentic furnishings and furnishings for daily use.

On the ground floor you can see the stable, the warehouse and the old animal-powered oil mill where work tools and agricultural tools are collected and exhibited, which testify to the work in the fields and in the woods.
