Founded in the 40's by his mother, he started his grocery business with the sale of cod and good wines to the public, emphasizing a careful selection of products. It was then in the 60's that JULY, daughter, gives a stronger contribution to what would become a true gastronomic wonder, with the famous cod to Julinha that lasts throughout all these years. Nowadays, while recreating a more modern environment, it remains traditional and intimate, valuing above all the quality of the kitchen. With continuous work and a rigorous selection of ingredients, Chef Fernando (grandson) remains faithful to the ancestral teaching of traditional Portuguese cuisine and the secrets of the convent cuisine left by previous generations. The years pass, times change, but good food persists ... In this house, Chef Fernando continues to surprise with some of the best flavors of the region, such as the famous Bacalhau, Cabritinho do Monte and Vitela Barrosã. In the winter there is the famous Portuguese stew with meats and home-made sausages, never forgetting the pan food that is always present in the day-to-day. Parola Pasta, Pica on the ground, Bacalhau à Espana and Feijoada are other examples of what is best here. Nowadays, a work of author of exponentialisation of Portuguese and universal flavors is also developed. The Julinha Restaurant is born of the love and dedication of three generations to the art of good cuisine.
