Lazure Marina & Hotel

LAZURE Marina & Hotel is located on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro at the entrance to the picturesque Kotor bay, near the beautiful ancient city of Herceg Novi. Supplemented by a boutique hotel housed in a renovated 18th century building, spacious residences, mediterranean restaurants, and the wellness center, the marina is a supreme destination for travelers and sailors alike. Planned opening: summer 2017 Built in the 18th century when Kotor Bay was under the rule of the Venetian Republic, a historical complex called "Lazaret" used to serve as a main hospital for the bay area. Later, in the 19-20 century Lazaret housed the Austro-Hungarian military post, and during Yugoslavia. Now it is being neatly renovated and brought back to life as a small boutique hotel offering 23 guest rooms, each with unique design. Lazure - it has the same root with the old name "Lazaret", but also has a connection with the word "azure" - sky-blue color which is used in many architectural elements of the building. LAZURE Marina & Hotel are located on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro at the entrance to the picturesque Kotor Bay, within the boundaries of the ancient city of Herceg Novi. Thanks to its coastal infrastructure, which includes a boutique hotel in a historic 18th-century building, modern spacious apartments, Mediterranean restaurants and a spa, the Lazure Marina will be of interest not only to yachtsmen, but also to tourists. Our tourist complex includes:

• a boutique hotel that will be located in the restored historic building of Lazareth built in the times of the Venetian Republic (17-18 century)
• modern apart-hotel
• a unique spa, a yoga room, two swimming pools (with salt and fresh water)
• a marina for yachts (200 berths) and a yacht club
• several restaurants (including an open kitchen) and a cafe with a sea view
• shopping center and children's game hall  - museum dedicated to the history of the infirmary
• halls and open courtyards for conferences and celebrations We are aware of the cultural value of the ancient building of Lazareth, which has witnessed many great historical events. We want to preserve the unique atmosphere of this place, expand the functionality of the surrounding area and leave free access to the complex for both city visitors and local residents.

Stages of the project:

2. Reconstruction of the historic building of Lazareth, the construction of a tourist complex and a marina. Start of work: Q4 2015 The planned completion date for the work is the second quarter of 2017.
