The Morbidelli Museum was born at the end of the 1990’s thanks to the tenacious spirit of initiative of Giancarlo Morbidelli. Since several decades, Giancarlo has been searching, collecting and restoring historical motorcycles of every trademark, age and origin, with the precious collaboration of some of the most important collectors and experts within this sector. The Morbidelli Museum exhibition accommodates about 350 models of historical racing and road motorcycles, which visitors can admire by following an ideal “route” that starts from the first decade of the Twentieth Century and ends in the 1990’s. The Museum’s background proposes and evokes the mythical atmosphere of the “roaring” years of world motorcycling. This is demonstrated, for example, by a collection of historical pictures that runs parallel to the entire exhibition. The continuous and constant evolution of Morbidelli’s collection includes the various samples of historical motor-bikes never exposed before which made their way into the museum only after an accurate and careful phase of research and restoration.
