Museo Civico di Moncalvo

The City of Moncalvo opens the Museum on the premises of the building of the seventeenth century. who built the painter Guglielmo Caccia, residence and convent to his two daughters nuns painters Orsola Maddalena and Francesca. The valuable collection belonged to a single collector: Ambassador Franco Montanari who at his death in 1973 bequeathed his valuable assets to the Municipality of Moncalvo. Cultured patron was a friend of famous painters such as Giorgio De Chirico, Renato Guttuso and Pius Semeghini.
