Museo della Ceramica "Lodovico Coccapani"

The Museum of Ceramics Calcinaia is housed in an old potter's workshop belonged to Coccapani family. It 'was recently inaugurated and named after the "Servant of God" Lodovico Coccapani, one of the last descendants of the family. Thanks to a recent restoration, the building has been fully recovered and brought back to its former splendor, allowing development of the historical center and the historical memory of Calcinaia.

The Museum has recently begun its activities with workshops, creative workshops, guided tours for adults and children and educational workshops for schools.

Opening hours: Saturday 15:00 to 19:00 Sunday 10:00 - 12:30                  15:00 to 19:00       Also open by appointment.
