Museo della Regina di Cattolica

The Museum of the Queen of Cattolica houses within it two sections, the archaeological one, which exposes the findings found during the excavations of the city from the 60s onwards, and the marine one of ethno-anthropological cut, guardian of naval traditions, piscatory and canteries of the port. The origin of Cattolica as a rest stop along the Via Flaminia and its tradition first as a landing-place, and later as a port, testify to the itinerary role of this center, well exemplified by the exhibited materials and the accompanying panels.
