Museo e Istituto Fiorentino di Preistoria "Paolo Graziosi"

The Museum of Prehistory and Fiorentino Institute operates in research, teaching and training. He leads and collaborates on excavations in Italy and in Africa, thus increasing their collections. The deposited materials are used for scientific purposes and study by specialists and also in university courses and higher education. Its specialized library is available and open to the public. The exhibition is equipped with guides and operators for teaching in schools of all levels, teaching that is also carried through winter and summer workshops. The Archives of Paolo Graziosi, founder of the museum, contains documents of great importance for the history of Italian and European prehistoric archeology. The scientific work is complemented by laboratory activities in the field of archeology, natural sciences and archeometric.
