The National Archaeological Museum of Sibaritide, inaugurated in 1996, is located in the center of the Piana di Sibari near the archaeological excavations, in the locality of Casa Bianca in the municipality of Cassano allo Ionio (CS).
The museum building designed by the architect Riccardo Wallach is an example of modern architecture. Expanded with P.O.IN. European Funds 2007-2013 (Operational Interregional Program) on a project by Invitalia - Rome.
It is spread over two levels with 5 museum units organized chronologically, from the settlement phases of the territory of the Sibaritide to the ancient colony and its stratigraphy:

In February 2017, following the flooding of the river Crati in 2013, the archaeological park of Sibari was returned to its usual use. In four years restored with radical interventions, it recalls the story of its history, that of the richest and most extended city of Magna Graecia.
