Papillon Gite

Early 2016 a family friend introduced us to this fantastic gite, and we fell in love with it straight away. Within days the offer was made and a few months later we were proud owners of an amazing retreat that we would like to share with everybody.

We are Janice (Mother), Gemma (Daugher), Callum (son) and Laura (Daughter-In-Law). With a little Grandson, Janice likes to ensure that the Gite is suitable for children of all ages.

We are proud to be able to ensure that every night, in every month is a standard rate. No peak and off-peak rates. No increase for staying over Christmas or New Year. Just one rate!! This rate may change year upon year, but will stay the same throughout the year.

We are all based in the UK. Patsy, who originally owned all of LesNohan, will be there to welcome you when you arrive. Not only does Patsy live there, she is able to help and advise if you have any questions, along with the other residents of LesNohan.

Papillon Gite is a rural retreat based in South Brittany between Plumelec and Sérent, set in a 5 acre ex-farm which has been sympathetically renovated to give excellent modern comforts in traditional surroundings.

Within the commune of LesNohan there are lots of safe places for children to play and large tranquil gardens for relaxation.

We are suituated in the centre of Morbihan’s tourist attractions. Within easy reach, you can laze on the Atlantic beaches of Damgan, Carnac or Quiberon Peninsular.

Explore Chateaux and historic monuments including the alignments at Carnac. Visit Forest of Paimpont with its Arthurian legends. Medieval towns Malestroit (10km), Josselin (15km), Vannes (20km) with shops to browse and bustling street markets renowned for local crafts and delicious seafoods. Lizio is only 10 minutes away with Insectarium, Eco Museum and Wild boar reserve.
