Real Club Náutico Dénia

For the beginning of the Real Club Nautico Denia we must go back to the year 1931 (11/15/1931), when a group of sea lovers gathered to create the Sports Association "Club de Regatas". Racing club was located on the pier coast place called "El Forti" and whose sporting purposes were: sailing, rowing, swimming and Motor. D. Pedro Crespo Mengual, was the first President who chaired the Club de Regatas. A major sporting event took place on July 17, 1932, the Club de Regatas held the "Championship of Spain to Remo".

Today the Club Nautico Denia is a continuation of what was the Club de Regatas Dénia.

All this made it possible that on December 28, 1968, the current Yacht Club of Denia inaugurated by D. Pedro Nieto Antunez, Minister of Marine, at the time, thus filling a major gap in the entire Marina Alta, with impact especially in all the peoples of the Marquess of Denia.
