Residenza IDRA

IDRA - Independent DRAma Residence, is a place, an idea and a way to produce, organize and make theater.

IDRA was born from the natural transformation of a company of professionals who in 1998 founded the Inverso Theater, now a resident company of IDRA. Since 2008 the company has won the ETRE call of the Cariplo Foundation, which turns it into a theater production residence. Since 1998 its activity has grown exponentially thanks to the cooperation with provincial, regional and national theaters and institutions. IDRA has worked to find a new organizational formula capable of freeing it from state funding that has always suffocated Italian companies and at the same time guarantees a continuity of work. IDRA - Independent DRAma Residcence has two areas of interest: the production of performances and the organization of events according to a single artistic project.
