The Tio Pepe Restaurant began its activities in 1964 on Boa Viagem Avenue, in Recife, under the sign of seafood. The first customers were delighted with the live lobster and crayfish, ready to be grilled. And the grill remained the hallmark of our best dishes. José Garrido Cid (1913 - 1986), known by Pepe, came from Spain to bet on Brazil.
