Rufford Park Golf Club

The 6368 yard, par 70 golf course is set in over 200 acres of beautiful parkland and woodland within the old Rufford Abbey Deer Park. During your round you will be spolit by the spectacular views of the Rufford Lakes and Abbey within the famous Sherwood Forest. Opened in July 1994, designed by former Ryder Cup player, Ken Brown, the course has been carefully designed to compliment the naturally undulating parkland landscape. A fantastic all weather course, constructed on a free draining sandy base provides quality playing surfaces throughout the year. The course is challenging for all levels of player, from novice to professional, in particular, the 17th is perhaps the most memorable of the many feature holes, requiring a daunting downhill tee shot over a meandering river.
