Szigligeti Színház Nagyvárad

Since its establishment in 2011, the Szigliget Theater in Nagyvárad has been one of the three most popular performing arts in the region. The institution's unique image is shaped by the collective presence of prose, puppet and dance tags, whose program policies are characterized by both traditional and progressive attitudes.

The undertaking of the Szigliget Theater is twofold: on the one hand, to respond to the demands of the public against the theatrical genres and, on the other hand, to sensitize the audience to the fundamental social fabric of the theater. Consequently, the Szigligeti Theater is intended to be a public space in which real dialogue between the creative and the host is taking place. In view of this, the Szigligeti Theater aims to provide a community experience for the audience, which, in addition to the color program, is supported by participation programs, additional events and festivals.
