Teatro della Limonaia

THEATRE OF LEMON The Theatre of limonaia was born in 1987 in limonaia of Villa Corsi Salviati, historic villa of the fifteenth century, under the artistic direction of Barbara Natives. Since 2005 the theater is directed by Dimitri Milopulos. From the beginning of its history has worked on several projects: the Intercity Festival (winner in 1997 of the Ubu Prize for the new category dramaturgy not only European, in 2003 received the Ubu Prize for Crave by Sarah Kane), Intercity Connections , the Intercity Theatre School, the Winter Season, productions, hospitality, workshops, meetings with artists, translations and publications of plays. The purpose of the structure is to allow a constant updating of new expressive trends of contemporary theater, with particular reference to the new national and international drama.
