The oven is a proposal for a flexible production model of research and dissemination of artistic works and researches for Digital Culture. It has a research laboratory, a stage that hosts promotes and produces experimental stage and multimedia forms of expression, a bookstore and a bar. The digital wave has a gateway for digital culture, a virtual scientific journal, a newsletter and a virtual space for experimentation and artistic cooperation.

The Center for Art and New Technologies Oven was founded in 1992 by Manthos and Ntonto Santorinaiou. It is the first center in Greece that deals thoroughly and methodically with this article, through research, production and dissemination of contemporary art forms and the registration and research more classical forms which are a useful tool and the basis for every cultural innovation.

Collaborates with researchers, artists, philosophers, educators and professionals from the field of technology, students, representatives from cultural centers, governmental and non-governmental organizations, to the social use of technology and explore new modes of artistic expression, education and cultural heritage .

Based on the idea of ​​Manthos Santorineou for the modern laboratory of the Artist (1). It has the form of core which is in communication with a wider network.
