Bed and Breakfast De Werfhoeve

B & B Werfhoeve is located in a renovated farm with an attractive courtyard and large garden. She dates from around 1900.

Originally this was a farm, but the Werfhoeve has had several destinations during the last decades:

   - 1978: discotheque, banquet hall and restaurant    - 1984: banquet hall and printing house    - 2004: printing and B & B

Until ... December 16, 2009: the Werfhoeve was purchased by the couple Urbain and Loes Boonen-Peeters, together with their children Lennert and Imke.

Since then, the Werfhoeve has undergone major changes:

   - every industrial activity (printing, parquet, ...) was stopped    - the roofs were renewed    - the whole B & B has been refurbished: kitchen, living room, heating, rooms, ...

B & B Werfhoeve is located near Mechelen and yet very quiet, in an ararar area. The storks of Planckendael come close to the surrounding meadows.

Brussels, Antwerp and Leuven are within a radius of 25 km and can easily be reached by public transport as well as the E19 motorway.

It is an ideal base for a stay where relaxation, sport, culture, gastronomy, nature and peace can be combined.

   - all industrial activities (printing office, parquetry, ...) were stopped    - all roofs were renovated    - the entire B & B was refurbished: kitchen, living room, central heating, rooms, ...

B & B Werfhoeve is located near the town of Mechelen, in a quiet and rustic area. The storks of the nearby zoo 'Planckendael' are regular visitors to our surrounding pastures.

Brussels, Antwerp and Louvain are all within a reach of 25 km and easily accessible by public transport on the E19 motorway.
