The Walnußhof is a cozy rustic farm from 1835 that has been carefully renovated to preserve the character of the farm and its original interiors. The decor of the rooms takes into account the character of the house.

In the warm season, the garden invites you to rest, relax and "let your mind wander". Whether in the hammock, in the deckchair or at the vespers in the "Backhaus" - everyone will find a quiet spot here. In winter, the tired skier can recharge his batteries in front of the open fireplace in the "old stable" for tea time with coffee and cake. Just a 5-minute walk from the farm, the nature lover will find the Hartsee. Whether you just want to go for a walk or prefer hiking, mountain biking, swimming, jogging etc, the Hartsee is part of the Eggstätt-Hemhofer Lakeland, which holds something for every taste in sport. The Chiemsee can be reached by bike. After about 5 km you are already in Breitbrunn and find there a lake hiking trail and a seaside resort. The mountains are also within easy reach - Kampenwand, Hochgern Geigelstein, just to name a few. To quench the hunger for culture, the trail can lead to Herrenchiemsee, Amerang Castle, Immling Castle or Salzburg. If you want to experience Bavaria in a particularly happy state, you should visit one of the many folk festivals in Chiemgau and not to forget the Rosenheim Autumn Festival.
