Château des Roques

The vineyard of Château des Roques is an exceptional place; consists of a hamlet of the sixteenth century dry stone, a chapel and a castle of the eighteenth century, planted plane trees, all surrounded by vineyards ... It was in this idyllic setting that was born the story of a passion passed down from generation to generation and extended by our family since 1997. The 38 hectares of vineyard running around the castle on a rocky limestone clay soil. We can identify them indiscriminately Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre for our red wines; Grenache Blanc, Viognier, bourboulenc and Marsanne for our white wines. The winemaker philosophy of our family is part of a farming with the use of natural fertilizers, suitable treatments and manual harvesting, in the greatest respect for tradition.

The aging cellar is cave with a natural spring that provides ideal conditions for both the production of wine for aging. The barrels and half barrels oak finish to perfect this careful preparation. The new tasting room has just been inaugurated. Its layout is intended as pragmatic, aesthetic, to highlight our wines with elegance. The welcome there remains our priority. Concerts, and exhibitions are held regularly at the field. The perfect opportunity to discover our wines that enjoy a great international reputation, thanks to large tables such as the Tour d'Argent in Paris.

We claim our membership in the union Vignerons Independents, as well as that of Club Winners Vignerons Du Concours Général Agricole in Paris. But our greatest pride is that of satisfaction.
