Golf Resort Písek

Between the towns of Písek and Strakonice is situated on the outskirts of Kestřany village Golf Resort Písek with an 18-hole course on the site of the original Sheepdog. The first nine holes were built in 2003 by the Japanese architect Sunsuke Kato. In 2007, the construction of the current clubhouse began, and a year later (2008) the second nine was opened, which underwent a redesign in the subsequent two seasons. In May 2016 the 18-hole FootGolf course was opened, which is suitable for both relaxation and entertainment.

The entire complex is set in an environment on the boundary of forests and fields, several ponds spread on its area and is complemented by a modern clubhouse with complete facilities and a restaurant.
