Visit and recommend .. The museum, founded in 1894, manages permanent exhibitions in the newly reconstructed Strakkonic castle. Enjoy and visit the extraordinary exhibition of sausages and bagpipes in Bohemia, motorcycles and other exhibits of the legendary Czechoslovak brand, an exhibition reminiscent of Rožmberk and the Order of the Knights of Malta on Strakonice, Rumpal sightseeing castle tower, unique capitular hall with an amplitude and preserved wall paintings

The museum also manages an extraordinary national cultural monument, namely the Medieval Water Mill in Hoslovice with functional milling equipment and a new ethnographic exhibition of the life of the Podlesí in Šumava. There are social facilities, refreshments and an information center selling souvenirs
