Horsens Ny Teater

story Horsens New Theater was built in 1909. For many years, the theater has been used extensively for plays, opera, ballet performances, concerts and as a cinema. From 1978, however, the old building was empty and unused for a long time until 1991, where the theater reopened after a thorough renovation. The renovation was carried out with respect for the original details, such as the original loft dome in the Great Hall, decorated with angels and piece decoration, beautifully preserved.

Horsens New Theater - today Horsens Ny Teater's vision is soul experiences, and our main function is to be the entire municipality's cultural center. That's why we strive for something to suit every taste. Since its reopening in 1991, the theater has put rooms for many big and small names. There is every year about 200 events, and there are around 45,000 guests in the house ranging from rock and pop concerts to classical concerts and opera to plays and lectures. In addition, we focus on childrens events and take pride in ensuring high quality cultural experiences for our youngest guests.

Many local associations also use the theater for their events, which makes the program even more diverse and at eye level with our audience.
